Properties：It is a colorless transparent liquid. Slightly soluble in water and easily soluble in Carbon tetrachloride, Ether and Methanol. Relative density: 2.4970g/cm3, Melting point: -52℃, Boiling point: 96℃, Refractive index: 1.5419(20℃/D). 

Uses：Dibromomethane is mainly used as a pesticide intermediate, it is the raw material for the production of Myclobutanil and Acaricide. It can also be used as a metal cleaning agent. In addition, it can be used as a refrigerant, flame retardant and antiknock component.

Storage：Keep in a well-closed container and store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. Stored separately from Oxidants, Aluminium, Metal powders and Edible chemicals. Mixed storage should not be avoided. The storage area should be equipped with emergency leak handling equipment and suitable storage materials.
