Properties：It is a colorless transparent liquid to white solid. Melting point: 30-31℃, Boiling point: 180℃, Refractive index: 1.4820 (20℃).  Soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene and other organic solvents. Water solubility: 10g/L(20℃).
Uses：1-Ethynyl-1-cyclohexanol is widely used as an inhibitor in the production of silicone rubber. In materials, medicine and other fields, it can also be used as an intermediate and stabilizer. It has the properties of alcohol, as a nucleophile, it can react with acid anhydride, acyl chloride, halon and so on to form ethers and esters. It also has the properties of acetylene, easily occur addition reaction with halogen, hydrogen halide, water, etc. When acetylene cyclohexanol is added to the corrosive medium, it can significantly reduce the corrosion rate of the metal. It can be used as a corrosion inhibitor alone, and can also be combined with a synergistic effect of the substance to obtain higher corrosion inhibition efficiency. It is often used in combination with amine corrosion inhibitors and potassium iodide and cuprous iodide, and can be used in the temperature range of 200~260℃.
